STARS Golf Society: Connecting Golfers in the Technology Industry
Join us at golf events that promote networking across the technology industry and support important charity initiatives.

Join us at golf events that promote networking across the technology industry and support important charity initiatives.

The STARS Golf Society was established to unite golfers across the entire technology industry - with the name representing Software, Technology, Analytics, Recruitment, and Services (including the technology/management consulting, media, and channel/reseller sectors too).
Our mission is to foster a professional but informal atmosphere for networking, where professionals can connect through golf events, engage in friendly competition, have some fun, and support charity initiatives along the way.

We look for venues that make it inclusive for golfers of all playing abilities. Our goal is to find locations that attract all types of golfers, within easy reach for most, and offering a suitable challenge without adding to the difficulties of the game we love. We also aim to book venues that provide excellent networking opportunities within the technology industry, ensuring that even if you are having a bad day at the office, you can enjoy a pleasant walk on the course!

We have been so lucky with weather and our most recent event was no different. With a few new faces we gathered at Hadley Wood Golf Club, and the day started with a covering of fog that lifted just in time.
One of those new faces, Aiden Brennan from TalentStack, won the singles event with an outstanding 42 points, pipping one of the ever-present attendees, Robert Botha (Adobe), into 2nd place by just one point. Robert got his revenge in the team event, combining with Josh Stanners (Boxxe) and Simon Phillips (Differentia Consulting) to win by 4 points. Rob Brodie (WorkLLama) comfortably won the Longest Drive prize, and Martin Butler (Technogym) won the Nearest The Pin prize by knocking it to just a few inches from the hole.
Another memorable day for networking and camaraderie, finished off with the fantastic Hadley Wood carvery.
Congratulations to Noorudin Chamadia (DLL), Anthony Gavin (Zipline) and Aiden Brennan (TalentStack) for winning the 3 x 4-Ball vouchers in the Silent Auction for:

We raised more money for this event's nominated charity - Macmillan Cancer Support. We hope you look forward to enjoying your 4-ball vouchers over the coming months.
